TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Hood Studio Terms and Conditions 

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of Hood Studio's photography and hire space. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms. Hood Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. 

1. Booking Process: 

Bookings can be made through our website, www.hoodstudio.com.au, or via email at hello@hoodstudio.com.au. 

Payment in full is required at the time of booking. 

Bookings made within 24 hours may be subject to confirmation via email. 

2. Studio Hire Fee: 

The studio hire fee is $65 per hour. 

The fee includes the use of studio photography equipment, which is detailed on our website. 

Access: Your access to the studio begins at the start of your allocated booking time. Please remember to include set-up and pack-up time in your hire time. 

Overtime: Extending beyond your allocated booking time may or may not be possible, due to other studio bookings. If you feel you may exceed your allotted time, please speak with us prior, to check the studio schedule. 

3. Confirmation: 

All bookings will be confirmed via email. 

It is your responsibility to review the booking details in the confirmation email. If you believe there is an error, please contact us immediately. 

4. Cancellations: 

Cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. 

You will forfeit the full amount of your booking if cancelled within 24 hours of the booking. 

To cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. 

Refunds, minus the cancellation fee, will be issued according to our discretion. 

5. Use of Studio: 

The studio is to be used for the purpose of photography and related activities as detailed on our website. Clients are expected to follow all studio rules and conduct themselves professionally. Any prohibited activities or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. 

You must vacate the premises by the end of your booking time. If you run over by 10 minutes, an additional hour charge will be added to your booking. 

6. Liability for Damages and Injuries: 

General Liability: While every effort is made to provide a safe and secure environment at Hood Studio, clients and their guests use the studio facilities and equipment at their own risk. Hood Studio, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or theft that may occur during the course of a booking. 

Liability Waiver: Clients acknowledge their responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their guests. 

Damage to/Theft of Equipment: Clients are responsible for any damage to studio equipment, including but not limited to cameras, lighting, backdrops, props, and accessories. Clients will be held financially liable for the repair or replacement of any damaged equipment. 

Damage to the Studio: Clients are responsible for any damage to the studio space itself, including but not limited to walls, floors, ceilings, and fixtures. The cost of repairs or restoration will be the responsibility of the client. 

Injury or Illness: Hood Studio is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the use of our facilities. Clients are encouraged to take necessary precautions and, if needed, seek appropriate insurance coverage to protect against such incidents. 

Indemnification: Clients agree to indemnify and hold Hood Studio, its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, costs, damages, or liability arising from their use of the studio. 

Security and Personal Belongings: Hood Studio is not responsible for the security of personal belongings. Clients are advised to secure their possessions and not leave them unattended. 

7. Payment: 

Payment can be made through the methods outlined on our website. 

Failure to pay the full amount may result in the cancellation of the booking. 

8. Refund Policy: 

Refunds will be processed within [72 hours] of receiving the written cancellation notice, and refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment. Any applicable cancellation fees will be deducted from the refund amount. 

9. Force Majeure: 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, emergencies), Hood Studio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients as soon as possible. 

10. Dispute Resolution: 

Any disputes or issues should be addressed directly with Hood Studio. We will work to resolve issues in a fair and timely manner. 

11. Respect for Neighbours: 

Noise and Conduct: Clients and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects our neighbours. Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or any activity that disturbs the peace and quiet of the surrounding area is strictly prohibited. Please keep noise to a minimum. 

Music and Audio: If playing music or audio, please keep the volume at a reasonable level to avoid disturbance. 

Guests: Clients are responsible for the behaviour of their guests while on the premises. Any violation of these noise and conduct regulations by clients or their guests may result in immediate termination of the booking. 

Compliance: Hood Studio reserves the right to terminate a booking if clients fail to comply with these regulations. No refunds will be provided in such cases. 

By making a booking with Hood Studio, you agree to respect our neighbours and adhere to these noise and conduct regulations. 

12. Security/Smoking 

Please note that the studio is installed with security cameras and is a no smoking studio – this includes the outside area and carpark. Security (CCTV): Be aware, that security cameras are installed inside and outside the premises. 

Studio Security: The studio must be secured according to the instructions given at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in a call-out fee. 

13. Parking Free 3 hour parking is available underneath Coles, located opposite 10 Hood Street. Please do not to park in the numbered bays at the premises, as these are allocated to the neighbouring businesses. 

14. Amenities WC and kitchen use: Access to and utilisation of these area is included in your booking. Please leave both spaces in a respectable condition upon leaving the premises. 

Air-conditioning and lighting: Please ensure air-conditioning and lighting is switched off upon your exit from the studio. 

By making a booking with Hood Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the cancellation of your booking.
